THE FLASH: A Series Review( season 8)

     The Flash season 8 also known as Armageddon was released on November 16, 2021, consisting of mere 5 episodes. After numerous successful crossovers with the arrowverse, new and bright characters are introduced in the following series.

    Armaggedon is the future end of the world supposedly going to happen due to flash going absolutely crazy as told by Despero. After feeling that the horoscope might be coming true everybody starts to investigate and barry comes to the conclusion that the only way to avoid armaggedon and stay alive is to lose powers. But it turns out that this was all a setup by none other than Eobard Thawne also famous as reverse flash, who sets a reverse flashpoint in order to steal barry's life and try and win. Another very important character has been Damien Darhk who is the bad guy who actually helps in fixing the timeline. A controversy then arises about letting Thawne die or saving him risking the lives of many.


The story eventually becomes monotonous considering the same villain altering lives from season 1, but also gets spiced up by the new guys on team flash Allegra and Chester. Cisco, an irreplaceable character from previous seasons was not brought back in this season making it impervious to humor and pure entertainment.





This season finally introduces the famous golden boots which were originally depicted in the comics. The series is based on fantasy, superheroes, and drama does a great job in en routing value along with humor. Overall a wondrous job has been done in making the series and is definitely a must-watch for all superhero lovers.

 🌟🌟🌟 T he latest Hotstar movie 'A Thursday ' was released on 17th February 2022 and has been a blast in the thriller genre. A simple kindergarten teacher, Naina Jaiswal holds 16 students hostage in order to fulfill some of her demands. Yami Gautam is in the lead role along with Neha Dhupia as Catherine Alvarez and Atul Kulkarni as Javed Khan. The movie fights against the Indian system, where women are raped every 16 minutes and have provided no justice for it. Naina demands to speak to the prime minister of India, as her final demand and that is when all of the suspense is revealed . Even though the movie supports a great cause, it could be said that it is seriously flawed. Some major political mistakes have been depicted and the police could have been showed more efficient. Apart from that ,the movie challenges one of the biggest issues in India and definitely should be watched by every citizen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Disney's Cruella is the first red carpet event since covid 19 and was released on Disney + with a premium access feature on may 28,2021. The character, Cruella devil first appeared in The Hundred and One Dalmatian, released back in 1956.
